What jewellery did you wear in the portrait? Cartier Love bracelet, rings from Cartier, Rebekka Notkin and heirlooms, earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and Marlene Juhl Jørgensen, necklace from Line&Jo

What is your own favourite piece of jewellery, and why? My Love bracelet is probably my favourite piece of jewellery that I got on my 30th birthday. I bought it together with my sister (we got one each) as a symbol of our very special bond and as a reminder of reaching a significant milestone in my life.

Can you describe a cherished memory connected to jewellery? I always loved watching my mum dress up and get ready in front of her vanity and she always let me help her choose which jewellery to wear, which was the final touch to complete any outfit.

What does jewellery mean to you? Jewellery has always been at the center of my upbringing due to my cultural heritage. Growing up I always received jewellery presents on any celebratory occasion, which is why I have so many fond memories tied to my personal collection - from the first pair of earrings I received when I got my ears pierced to my first watch that I received from my parents when graduating high school. Therefore, to me jewellery is a symbol of love, filled with memories.

How do you use jewellery – do you have a daily uniform, do you wear special pieces for parties, is it embellishment, a second skin, or? I have a few pieces that I wear as part of my daily uniform - but I love to pick and choose from my personal collection for special occasions or when I feel like dressing up.
