In 2015, Jennie Yoon’s parents’ home was robbed and her family’s heirloom jewelry was stolen. Working at a tech startup at the time, Jennie visited the Los Angeles jewelry district in hopes of recreating the lost pieces. As she learned about the antiquated industry, she slowly and accidentally started to create a space where jewelry purchases were simpler. She helped her friends design engagement rings, and eventually started Kinn out of her garage. Now a successful and sought after fine jewelry brand, Los Angeles based Kinn remains committed to creating heirloom quality pieces. Each is intended to be passed on for generations. Kinn uses recycled 14k gold and ethically sourced gemstones, designs bespoke jewelry, and emphasizes circularity with its vintage line.
