Honouring the women who create & nurture

As we approach Mother's Day, it's time to honour the inspiring women who are not only creative powerhouses but are also devoted mothers.

We're excited to showcase these talented makers and share their personal experiences of navigating the complexities of being a mother while pursuing their passion for jewellery. Explore their unique collections, shop for your loved ones and join us in celebrating mother's & makers.

Joanna Jablko

Handcrafted in Copenhagen, Joanna's goldsmith skills and experience has given her the opportunity to work with many techniques with the jewellery world. Her designs are playful, feminine and elegant.

When talking about motherhood, Joanna described, "What ever I do I do it for my girls. I try to show them that it’s very important to do what you are passionate about and follow your dreams, but also that it’s hard work and it doesn't always end up as planned. Both of my girls have spent their young years in my workshop and that has been a challenge, but also a privilege to always have them around".

ELI-O

Based in Geneva, Switzerland and inspired by her Greek heritage, Elisa's designs translate beauty and storytelling into her modern collection. Each piece is a testament to her creative ability and an investment in a lifetime treasure that you can proudly hand down to future generations.

When asked to share her thoughts on motherhood, she describes, "I am feeling so very grateful to become a mother very soon. It has been a mind blowing journey so far and I can’t wait to discover this new phase of my life next to my baby. I have received advice from a lady who spoke to me, “Trust your instincts” - I’ll try and do just that! All I deeply want is my family to be happy. I am excited to show my kid someday what an extraordinary world the jewellery one is. How working with your two hands can bring you so much peace when life gives you lemons. And lastly, I hope I can give him the tools to fulfil his own dreams."

Roxanne Rajcoomar-Hadden

Based in London, Roxanne's commitment to sustainable practices, paired with her passion for design and understanding of the importance of jewellery, comes to life in her collections.

When reflecting on her thoughts on motherhood, Roxanne describes, "Motherhood means nurturing your child's true self, not cornering them into becoming who society wants them to be. It's to be entrusted with the responsibility of encouraging their curious minds and their critical thinking, to love nature and everything it has to offer, and to teach them key skills in life; to be good friends, good members of their community, and allow them to be completely themselves. I want to be the one to lay those foundations for them in my life and in my work and my jewellery brand is often inspired by this task. The juggle is real!".

Judith Peterhoff

Handmade in London, Judith's designs feature a mix clustered diamonds and beaded styles, working with suppliers and highly-skilled artisans who share her values of ethical, environmentally conscious and recycled production.

Judith's thoughts on being a mother and how she juggles business and family, "To me being a mother means to see the world from a different perspective and the possibilities that can bring. Trying to be the best version of myself to teach my son how to be himself but also to show him that a woman can achieve anything she puts her mind to. On a day to day basis it also means to be tired, exhausted and never really alone. When I’m at work I can step out of being a mum and it makes me a better mother. It’s a constant juggle but my two babies (business and baby J) give me the motivation to be better at the other one".
