About the designer

Métier by Tomfoolery

Métier, founded in 2015 by Laura Kay, is a 9ct gold jewellery collection. Growing up in the jewellery industry, Kay took over the reins of her parents’ renowned jewellery gallery tomfoolery in 2011. Offering her customers a bespoke service, the demand grew, and Kay was inspired to start designing her own collection of fine jewellery for every day. That was the birth of Métier, affordable and delicate, designed to be self-styled and interchangeable. The collections are vast and feature a rainbow of precious and semi-precious gemstones, enabling customers to be expressive and build up a personal ’jewellery kit’. Métier is all about letting people create their own unique collections of jewellery attuned to needs and individual identity.
