Ariel Gordon started her jewellery line in 2009 from her apartment in Santa Monica, while she was still working as a Hollywood publicist. The idea was jewellery you never take off. Much of it can be personalised with engraving, initials or birthstones, and she does personalisation particularly well. She says she aims for minimalism but can’t resist treasures, and you can see both sides in the work. The shapes are simple and easy to live with, yet with a lot of colour in the stones and beads, and always cheerful - fine jewellery that doesn't take itself too seriously. Everything is made by hand in Los Angeles by a small team of jewellers.
