Signet rings
Contemporary signet rings from independent fine jewellery studios
The signet ring began as a seal. It was pressed into wax to mark a letter or document as your own. Today it is still one of the most personal pieces of jewellery you can wear, and the designers in this collection each approach it differently.
Some keep to the classic form: a flat, polished face and a weighty band. Others reshape it in oval, cushion and octagonal faces, slimmer profiles, or settings for a single stone. Many are made to order by the studio that designed them.
Explore signet rings in solid yellow, white and rose gold, sterling silver and plated gold, set with diamonds or personalised with engraving. Many designers also size their signets for the little finger, where they were traditionally worn.
