Dinny Hall — Signature duo tanzanite & tsavorite huggie hoops
Dinny Hall

When Dinny Hall graduated in 1984, Liberty bought her entire degree collection, and it has stocked her ever since. She started out making jewellery for London fashion shows, and in 1989 the British Fashion Council named her Accessory Designer of the Year, the first time accessories had their own category. The award was for a pair of hoops, and hoops have been her signature ever since, earning her the nickname the Queen of Hoops. Her pieces are the kind people wear every day for years: clean hoops, huggies and fine chains, often finished with a pearl, a diamond or a coloured stone. She has a real love of gemstones, which shows in her cocktail rings. Dinny still designs every piece herself, and her shops have been part of London since she opened the first in Notting Hill in 1992.
