In her flagship store just off the Tuileries Gardens in the heart of Paris’ 1st arrondissement, designer Amélie Huynh presents her sharp, architectural jewellery. Finding its design language at the intersection of the Brutalist and Art Deco movements, and infused with a touch of Parisian rock & roll, each Statement Paris piece exudes power, strength, and ambition – serving as personal armour to the world. Trained with a heritage fine jewellery ‘maison’ on the famed Place Vendôme, Amélie has translated the traditional codes of fine jewellery into a modern interpretation with Statement; elevating sterling silver to the position of primary material. Throughout her collections, it takes center stage, plated in white rhodium and often set with micro-pavé of natural diamonds. The cornerstone of the collection is the iconic ‘My Way’ ring, which embodies the architectural, cool, and bold design language of the brand while showing extreme finesse through its micro-pavé diamond setting and delicate craftsmanship. It is this blend of raw strength and refined elegance, as well as its surprising use of silver as its primary metal, that defines Statement Paris – resulting in jewellery that is both bold and timeless.
