“If we’re not talking about money, and only dreaming, I would love to gift the Victoria ring.

“With the Victoria collection, I wanted to do something a bit different.

“Actually, I would love to gift the Victoria earrings. I’ve done a new type of earrings. I didn’t invent it, but it’s the first time I do “poissarde” earrings.

“It looks like hoops, but you have an extra rod inside, which you only see from the side. The system stops the earrings from moving, they won’t turn or skew.

“I made some “poissarde” hoops. I’d wanted to make poissardes for a while, but since there’s more gold involved, they’re a little bit more expensive, so I hesitated.

“Eventually, I realised I really wanted to make this style of earrings.

“So I would gift these, because it’s brand new for me.”

When it comes to personal style, Marie is all in for statement jewellery. “I love statement jewellery with jeans and a t-shirt.

“If I could, I would only design big pieces because it’s more fun to create.”

Statement jewellery isn’t necessarily the first choice when thinking about Christmas gifts, with most of us afraid of gifting jewellery that could clash with someone’s style and instead opting to play it safe.

Marie has a recommendation there too. “I would also say the super long earrings from Pluie d’Ete. I did three sizes, thinking about all types of women and budgets.”
